Carelli s is my families favorite place to come when they are in town! Everything tastes homemade and service is always great.
Food is not good at all but ambience is great!
I tried to make reservations for brunch for Mother’s Day… I was promptly told by Chris Carelli that they were not open and he hung up on me, no option for other times, etc. I was stunned so called back to confirm and he simply said the conversation was over. Wow. Terrible in my opinion and he did not care I was offended.
This place tries but ultimately falls flat. Service is fine, but the food is uninventive. Lots of potatoes. I will say their Caesar salad really shines. They have an acceptable wine list, too. The atmosphere is a microcosm of Boulder, pretentious and hollow. But the servants are all really nice and attentive. Not really worth the prices to my eye, but worth a shot at least once.
