Great staff, very friendly. Mostly get carryout of the Stone Crab claws, but oysters are good too, as is the grouper.
Fresh fish, that is at your choice!
Always the perfect spot when I have a craving for fresh fish and the best hush puppies The conch fritters are also awesome. Such a low key neighborhood spot.
Celebrated a birthday here. Parked by this somewhat sketchy alley, but who cares? Place isn't elegant, it's kind of spare with an interesting interior. The food! Great stuff. Ate oysters on the half-shell, loved the shrimp and grits. Good service, our waiter brought everything out as it was finished by the chef instead of a giant tray of semi-hot food. Everyone enjoyed their food, ranging from lobster to fish sandwich. Some guy came up to our table and gave my granddaughter a $20.00 birthday gift! AMAZING! Are we coming back? You betcha! EDITED REVIEW: Every year I look forward to stone crab season. This year I went back to Captain Jim's to check out theirs. PERFECT! I only order the medium-sized claws, believing they are the sweetest and most tender. They were everything I want in one of the greatest gifts the sea can give me. Took a chance on the conch chowder that was rich, flavorful, loaded with delicious conch and had a good balance between spice and heat. Loved that meal! Going once more time before stone crab ends. Prices are high but what can you do when the market prices are high?
Friendly and excellent service. Food was very good. Fish tacos and sandwiches are highly recommended.
Unfriendly waiter and bad service. Had to ask for water twice and since the place had only 6 people at the time it sure wasn't crowded but yet the waiter wasn't available to give us a refill. Food mediocre. I don't recommend at all.
Food was great. The server could've visited the table more it wasn't crowded.
The sea food was over cooked top expensive TOO
