Food was good but on the expensive side. Didn’t like the fact that they included the take out orders in the automatic 18% gratuity on our dine in check. They also charge 25 cents for the bag that they put the take out orders in

Food was EXCELLENT! Drinks were good. I could have eaten all day. Staff was friendly and helped us celebrate my husband's birthday and our wedding anniversary.

New Year's Eve we expected to fight crowds but were pleasantly surprised with how easy it was to get in. The decor inside and out is great. Seating was comfortable. Wait staff were helpful and attentive. I had stuffed shrimp with grits and Brussels sprouts. The plate looked beautiful with the lemon sachet and flower. Although I eat Brussels sprouts, I wasn't looking forward to these, but they were tasty. The shrimp were "stuffed" with afilling like crab cake. I expected to bite into my fair share of crab shell, but this was picked through and prepared with love and thoroughness--not a single piece of shell! I cook the "bite" out of my grits at home, so I expected to be disappointed, but these grits were soft, smooth, and creamy. I look forward to visiting again the next time I'm in Baltimore.

It was my birthday and they and they served me chocolate lava cake and vanilla ice cream with caramel. Delicious!

So glad we found Captain James Seafood! The staff were so kind and helpful as we navigated in from the snowy streets of Baltimore. We were directed to an accessible entrance and staff assisted as we got seated.. All the food and drinks were delicious! My only bit of advice being from New Orleans is they served the shrimp poboy on ciabata bread instead of french bread. Cream of crab soup was thick and delicious. Will definitely return to enjoy other menu items. Bonus: staff directed those clearing the snow to shovel around our accessible vehicle. So thoughtful and helpful for our family ❤️❤️❤️
