The food was hot and fresh.
Turned me agai st eating at captain des again. Food was horrible.
Something different for a change. Better than overpriced slabs of meat(?) that McDonald's is trying to pass off as hamburger.
Food is GREAT, go inside or look online for additional menu items
Wheelchair accessibility: Adequate and well placed spaces with ramps.
My sister and I usually eat at the East Colonial location when I'm in town and their fish strips are always a nice size and fresh. We always order the two piece fish with hush puppies, fries, and coleslaw. My experience at the West Colonial location was the exact opposite. My fish strips (2) were very small and dark compared to my sister's plate. Hers looked like the menu picture, good sized and lightly golden. We ordered the exact same thing so I don't know why mine looked much darker and tasted like pure grease. Needless to say, my stomach was rumbling a few hours later. I'll spare you the details. Update: I now realize the reason my fish was dark and greasy was that it was probably ordered by someone else and never picked up. Rather than toss it out, the cook just reheated it in oil. That would explain why they were darker than my sisters fish and tasted like pure grease. My fries were also cold and the portion was much smaller than my sisters. I am surprised they weren't reheated in oil. I didn't mention this in my earlier post but the ladies bathroom did not have soap (two female employees working that night). There was also feces smeared on the floor by the hand dryer. If I had seen that beforehand, I would not have ordered. Disgusting! I wish I had taken pics of my food and the bathroom.
