The blackened seafood combo of grouper, shrimp, crab cake, and scallops were excellent!!!! Homemade mushroom and crab soup was superb!!! Dietary restrictions: We easily ate low-carb and healthy!!!
A locally owned and operated seafood restaurant serves the among the most delicious meals I’ve had to date! When with the seafood mushroom soup to star with which was phenomenal! Next was a local fresh fish served blackened, one of my favorite dishes. Service was outstanding. They mentioned nothing is delivered, frozen only fresh fish brought in daily. Make this a stop when you’re in the area as you won’t be disappointed.
Had lunch today with both of us ordering the fried clam plate (full bellies). Clams were outstanding, lightly breaded and plentiful for lunchtime. Prices are extremely reasonable. Our server, Dorothy, was awesome....friendly, helpful and attentive. My husband additionally had the Manhattan chowder, and said it was the best he has had in a very long time. We will certainly be back.
A good selection of fresh seafood. An old school, local atmosphere. A regular lunch spot for many years. The Manhattan Clam Chowder (a rare find around here) was probably the best we have ever had. Good portion sizes The Bang Bang Shrimp and Blackened Grouper Tacos we had were tasty. A helpful attitude and attentive quick service! Parking: Get there early. A very small parking lot with lots of other places there competing for parking
Stuffed flounder, sautéed spinach, everything excellent. Exceptional value. Wheelchair accessibility: Easy in and out
I hate giving a four but a 4.5 would be better on food. The food was good but not Louisiana good. Service was great and the atmosphere was good lots of locals there so that is always a good sign.
lobster delicious. swordfish v good & sides good also. not fancy but packed w customers at 5pm. highly recommend
3 bad experience's here. Was sold a dead lobster for 34 dollars..2 purchased a whole belly clam dinner. One was shucked dead and the other had broken clam shells deep fried in one. Then another time I went in there for take out and went to the bar to order and she let me. After I paid 38 dollars and 32 cents she said you want your change ? I said yes and when she came back she said you are supposed to order this up front.with an slightly angry tone. Why didn't she tell me when I sat and waited a long time to order I would have went back or she could have just said you will have to pick up at the counter. Ugh yeah I'm not gonna give you nearly 2 dollar tip for one beer. I'm all done with them. Duvalls Seafood here I come.
