Was crawling back to the cruise ship when I saw the sign saying oldest saloon in Florida. Had to stop. If in Key West you need to take a moment to visit this place just for the history. Captain Tony led an exciting life. Supposedly the bar even was where Jimmy Buffett got his start. Be sure to bring a dollar bill so that you can sign it and add it to the collection. Or if you're daring, you can leave some other things hanging from the ceiling.

Favorite bar in key west. Great live music, the pirate punch is an awesome drink that is not too sweet or premade syrupy. It’s smoking friendly which is important to note. Great vibe in here very laid back and they have amazing friendly bartenders. Cameron was our bartender both days we have been in and he’s amazing and nice, gave us recs for where to go. This is the one place in our travels so far that I keep wanting to come back to. Def will be back again.

Must see dive bar off Duvall street. Touristy spot that stays busy. Dark, dingy bar with decent drinks and music. Customer service depends on whose behind the bar. I've had good service and bad service on each of my visits. I guess dealing with cruise ships all day takes it toll.
