Food was amazing and service The place is very authentic. Packed so make reservations. People from all different paths in life. Two thsms.

Service was subpar, wait staff wouldn't make eye contact as they walked by. Food order messed up , very long wait time for service , short staffed not prepared for Valentines rush Parking: Share lot with other businesses

Extremely horrible service and food comes to the table cold. Server walked up to table asked with an attitude if we're ready to order our main dish and with no time for us to respond immediately walks off to serve people at the bar. Overpriced food for the portions. Do not recommend this place at all.

I realize today is Valentine Day, but the service we received today was beyond horrendous ! My husband and I have been to this restaurant many times, and have entertained guests there often.We made an early reservation and was seated in a timely manner. We wondered at the delay for a waiter coming over to take a drink order, but understood today was a busy day. Someone finally came over to ask if we had been helped. Apologies for the delay followed. We completed our entire dinner order when the drinks arrived and over one hour later we still were waiting for the salad and appetizers. I asked the waiter if we were to be served soon and he said yes. That was the last we saw of him. I finally addressed another employee and asked for the bill for the drinks…that waiting well over an hour was unacceptable. Needless to say we were VERY disappointed, and left hungry. It would have been nice to at least have received an apology for our disastrous dinner experience. Cindy G.

The front desk greeter, greeted us but told us to just wait and left us standing until a wait person found us and seated us . As we waited for our Wait person, he took our order that got botched up, and my companions' dinner was wrong. Coffee was served cold he says that no hot water. No one would make eye contact as they passed the table so they wouldn't have to help or answer any questions. Staff seemed overwhelmed and understaffed. The only time he hustled was when we asked for our check. The food is really good. But the cost is over the top Between the two of us we spent 150.00 of course we had 2 martinis each.

My husband I went out to spend all of our accumulated gift cards around San Diego, and we gambled on our San Diego dining card with Capri Blu. It was a win! From the outside it doesn't look like much of atmospheric restaurant, however once inside the ambiance, music and friendliness of the staff superseded my expectations. My husband notably mentioned that the whiskey smash was one of the best whiskey drinks he's had! The food was also amazing. My husband ordered the lasagna which was hearty, and delicious. I ordered the special which was a seafood linguini with red sauce. It was perfection.... the noodles were perfectly al dente and the medley of flavors paired well together. As full as I was we also ordered dessert. We ordered the bread pudding which seemed non traditional (not your grandmothers raisin pudding) and there was not a bite left. My husband who has never cared for Bread pudding agreed it was the best dessert he's had. Capri Blu is a hidden Gem. We will be back.
