Great food...

I really wanted to like this place but… The service was incredibly slow. Ordered a drink and it took about 15 min to get to the table. The street tacos were so small and charged $18 for three, the same price as the fajitas! The food was not the greatest. We had a gift card with $70, bill was 58.65 - the server came back with a gift card for $10??? She said they no longer had those gift cards and this was what o was getting back. Wow. So I lost money? I won’t be back. I love Abuelas and was hoping this place would be up to par.

Nice spot in Peoria. Salsa was delicious and the spicy margarita was really good. We had the surf and turf fajitas and the steak was cooked perfectly. Our waiter was great and the service was speedy. Recommend if you are in the area or live here and haven’t tried it yet.

Our food was absolutely delicious. The Birria Tacos are my new favorite. Also the churros were delicious. We came in late and our server was the bartender, he was very busy running around but was still a wonderful waiter for us despite being so busy! The service was great, and the manager is very kind.

We love to come here for happy hour. We had a male server and he was awesome (wish we had gotten his name). The salsa is great as well as most of their food items!
