Canes Cafe & Corner Store

Absolutely horrible this place used to be amazing last year when they had the original owners but then they sold it and the new owners simply just cannot run it. as an ex employee I can tell you it’s not sanitary in the back, it’s over priced, and he also illegally worked many teenage girls.

I stopped by Canes to get some work done after checking out a property in the area seemed like a cute spot. I went in and was pleasantly surprised with a variety of selection they offer from ice cream to the Caprese sandwich I ended up getting the owner was extremely friendly. This is my kind of place Yeah, atmosphere was Clean and filled with artwork, and the food was to die for not gonna lie. This is the best Caprese sandwich I’ve ever had couldn’t recommend enough 10 out of 10 will come back again!

Breakfast bagel was tasty and a large amount but pricing is about double what online photos show. Staff is attentive but not very friendly. Ordered a cold brew and it tasted minty and looked like it had stuff that shouldn’t be in it (I ordered black). Overall the food was good but for the pricing, quality, and atmosphere I don’t feel the need to go again.

The food was ok the service took like 15-20 minutes and they forgot one of the sandwiches so I had to share and the interior was unorganized and messy.

Filthy front door, don't want to touch! Have wide variety of drinks, but place needs a total wipe down. Too bad, but with such filth can't rate higher. If they clean it up, its probably great.

I hate to leave this review, but it was my first time at Cane’s, and my boyfriend and I stopped in, because we love to support local. We ordered a gingerbread chai and two breakfast sandwiches. We did get the chai, but after waiting for 45 minutes, and watching the only person working get further and further in the weeds as high school students and more customers kept coming in. I complimented the sweet girl, who was clearly overwhelmed, and asked for a refund since she hadn’t yet started making either bagels. Unfortunately she didn’t know how to do a refund as she was new. Not a huge deal, it’s only two sandwiches. I’m not sure if it was just a staffing issue and people call out or this is how it’s usually run, but there needs to be more than one person in there at all times. I would have loved to have had breakfast before work, but understand wholeheartedly and just wanted the owner to make sure your staff has the proper support and training.

Very tasteful food, small but cozy location.

I was in this morning 12/28. There was a lady working by herself and she seemed like she was under pressure. I asked for a latte with Oat Milk. I can’t have dairy. I saw her reach for the regular milk and glad I saw and had to repeat I wanted oat milk. I also asked for my bagel to be scooped out and it wasn’t. It was toasted burnt and very soggy and the eggs were cold. For $13 I could have sat in a restaurant for a fresh hot breakfast. Not worth it for me. Latte wasn’t great either.
