Cane Rosso

Walking down Commerce Rd Deep Ellem on a quiet Monday afternoon we stumbled across Cane Rosso, We were treated with a magnificent 14" Voodoo Mama Juju woodfired thin based pizza,a chilled glass of beer& wine,little wait time and great service. A very enjoyable experience for 2 happy Australians!

Service was terrible, I was given the wrong plate, told the server and she said that she would bring the correct plate which never took place. I LOVE all the Cane Rosso locations, but this one I can't ever seem to get even decent service, or when I DO get the correct food, it's nothing compared to the other locations (Carrollton is the best so far)

We enjoyed our dining experience the food was absolutely delicious , And our waitress Carmen gave us every detail available to make all the best choices as we ordered ready to chow down eagerly Neopolitan Pizza yes Please & Thanks Carmen!! All of Your suggestions were exactly how you said they'd taste !! Desert is available as well !!! 10 stars but Definitely a 5 star type deal for us !!! Pomegranate mule!! Sweet !!

This review is ONLY from a vegan perspective. | had the opportunity to partake in Cane Rosso's (Deep Ellum) Happy Hour Special, the Margherita pizza with vegan cheese and Spaghetti without meatballs. My server later informed the pasa dish was made with butter. So, | only had the Margherita with vegan cheese. The place was practically empty during Happy Hour at 4:30 p.m. It was a Monday and eclipse day. Great use of one of the older building in Deep Ellum. The service was good and the servicer was personable and courteous. The pizza was out in about 2 minutes. | could tell the pizza was cooked in a wood-fired oven. The thin crust pizza was delicate and light with a slightly charred dough. The sauce was flavorful without being overly sweet. Overall the vegan version of Cane Rosso's Margherita gets a 6/10 from me since they are not a vegan pizzeria. A vegan pizzeria would have gotten a lower score. My score would have been been higher if a better vegan cheese was used. If I'm not mistaken Daiya commerical was used. Would be nice if there was also a vegan pasta and vegan salad option. Dietary restrictions: Vegan toppings are available. Parking: Free on street parking until 6 p.m. Paid parking lot across the street.

Visiting Dallas for first time and was happy to find Cane Rosso! Pizzas take 90 seconds to cook in their stone oven and are 12 inches. Vegans can get a Margherita pizza and then add their own toppings and sub out mozzarella with vegan cheese. Pizza crust is the thin style and was delicious!!! Cider available from Trinity Cider down the street. Part of the sales support their dog rescue non-profit. Enjoyed the vibe inside with artwork of pop culture favorites. Friendly staff and quick service! Vegetarian options: Can select toppings and vegan cheese as substitution is available for extra cost Dietary restrictions: Vegan options

My favorite location out of all the cane rossos. The food is delicious and there is a vast amount of pizzas to try and non pizza options. I got the focaccia bread however it was more like a pita (still good though) the cocktails are strong and tasty. The dough is goods. The cooks make pizza FAST and it’s fascinating to watch. They have vegan options which is what I’m posting here. Not the best vegan pizza but still an option for those looking or visiting with a group. Dinner was fast. Parking on the street or in lots around. Only issue was my pizza was made wrong even while confirming twice. :/
