I arrived at Campisi’s on Elm to have a good meal during a convention that every restaurant in the vicinity has a 45+ minute wait. I was not greeted when I walked in. I had to go to the bar to ask how my experience at the place would be. And the bartender had to get a waiter to come to my table. The water himself was actually a nice guy, asked about the convention in town and what it was and things like that. I ordered a very simple dish. Fettuccine Alfredo with chicken. The wait for my food did not take long at all, and even the server commented on how fast it was. That should have been a red flag. When I got my order it looked a little small for portion and a little rushed on plating. I first tasted a piece of chicken, which wasn’t too bad. Nicely cooked, seasoned well… But when I got to the noodles and the sauce I wish I hadn’t. The Alfredo sauce was runny and had no flavor. I could make better Alfredo sauce. The noodles were overcooked and tasted like water. No amount of salt, pepper, and Parmesan cheese could help it. I told the waiter and the manager came forward asking me if I wanted something else. I declined because I had lost my appetite. I looked elsewhere for my now late dinner.

Great food with a great service. No problems with anything. The atmosphere feels very fancy while being on the cheaper side.

I tried this place for the first time today and I’m not disappointed, i had a beef and sausage pizza and calamari. I enjoyed both! Will definitely be back!

Great location! Awful food for the price. Paid almost $20 for a 1 topping pizza and somehow it was cold and burned.

We have been here every time we visit Dallas every year. Unfortunately I don't know if they were just too busy but everything was just so so. Our order was wrong so we got our appetizers of garlic bread with our pizza! I ordered penne Alfredo with salad and ranch. I received salad with Italian which is to acidic for me. The Alfredo sauce lacked flavor and was watery. We ordered the Alfredo chicken spinach pizza. Unfortunately it also had the Alfredo sauce which was lacking. I have never put salt on a pizza before but without it the pizza had no flavor. We were really hungry having just got off a 3 hour flight so it served its purpose it was filling. That's all I can say.
