The owner is super friendly and accommodating. We had the lemongrass tofu banh mi, spring rolls, and egg rolls. All were vegan. The owner is vegan and was very happy to serve fellow vegans. The kids loved it as well. Great prices and great food!! Vegetarian options: Vegetarian and vegan options.
limited selection nothing like it use to be prices are way inflated for what you get ... super slow service especially if your on lunch break ... was hoping this place with the new boss could be atleast half of what it use to be with a line going out the door ,,marketed as healthy food what a joke .. dont think this place will last long .. next door seems to be getting ready to open so ...
I got a fish cake vietnamese sandwich at the early morning when they open. It was very very quiet but the stuff is very friendly.
Their combo sandwich is fire
a little pricey for banh mi. it was bland. got the combo meat.
Chinatown institution that brought Banh Mi to the town back in the day.
I'm not sure if the name change, I actually didn't pay attention to it, I'd always remember it being a Chinese restaurant growing up, but that didn't make sense as this is where I discovered Thai ice tea. On my way home, I would stop and get a bite to eat, Photo is old. Vegetarian options: Yes Dietary restrictions: Yes Parking: Basically none existing in this area. Kid-friendliness: Yes, mainly to go Wheelchair accessibility: A little tight
Best place in china town that I've found for Banh Mi. Solid sandwich and they always have some Vietnamese dessert options too. It is about $8 for a sandwich at time of writing which is quite a bit more than what you'd pay down in San Jose but seems pretty standard for this area. Vegetarian options: I know they at least have some tofu dishes.
Ban Mi was filling and the service was excellent
Great food and they give you a lot!
