California Dreaming

The atmosphere draws us here anytime we are visiting Columbia. The food is excellent! We love the California Dreaming Salad is a favorite. Lunchtime can be busy, but it's definitely worth the short wait.

Had a reservation because we had a show that evening. 45min wait with a reservation. I won't go there again.

My grandparents took me to lunch after a busy morning at EdVenture in Columbia SC. They both ordered the California Dreaming Salads and they ate everything up, even the honey croissant. Since I am 5, I ordered off the children’s menu and picked the chicken strips and fries. This came with a drink. I was shocked to hear there was no chocolate milk!!! Imagine my disappointment on having to settle for milk. I anticipate that the next time my grandparents suggest California Dreaming, I hope the menu will include chocolate milk.

overall didn’t enjoy my experience. Completely dead inside and all workers in site but absolutely no one wants to work?!?! Food was cold. The waiter showed absolutely no customer service or sorrow until she grab the manager. Will not be back. California dreamings just seem to getting worse and hiring whoever just to fill a spot. I remember when restaurants and humans actually had customer service and didn’t do everything for a tip or check. This is peoples food. Food industry should have the most efficient respect.

I recently had an absolutely delightful experience at this establishment. From the warm and attentive service to the exquisite food, everything was wonderful. The croissants, in particular, were a standout – perfectly flaky and flavorful. The atmosphere added another layer to the overall charm; it was simply wonderful. I can't recommend this place enough for a delightful culinary and atmospheric journey.

I ordered two house salads, one with fried chicken tenders. So disappointed in the amount of salad that I received & there was supposed to be four tenders on the salad. It could not have been four tenders in the container with the salad! They were cut up & placed on the salad.
