1st time at this Vietnamese place. Not bad at all.
Ok so it is most definitely not authentic Vietnamese Pho it lacks some key flavors. The thing is Korean cuisine when you lack flavor you add sugar. The broth is much too sweet. I got a combination pho and after getting over the sweetness I added Sriracha and chilies. Honestly it could pass for ok pho without the added sweetness. The broth was for the most part very clean strong taste of anise. Not bad if you had other aromatics needed in good pho. I dread to think how the oxtail would taste. Better to head to Pho So 1 or Pho 999 if open. Sadly at the end my mouth was dry from all the sugar. Wouldn't be surprised if it had a bunch of salt too. The sugar was just so over powering. That said if you need a pho fix this is for those who can get duped by sugar and salt not the authentic aromatic flavor of great pho. Otherwise this will leave you lacking. Might as well head to Kyushu Ramen instead for authentic ramen. I would stay away from the pho. Other items maybe good.
Great place to relax and enjoy your meal. Great customer service. Clean environment. Highly recommended.
Omg Pho is so good!!! Best Pho in Van Nuys.
The food is very good. Good service the only thing is that the bathrooms smell bad.
The rare steak and brisket pho was delicious, and the portions were generous. Parents had the vegan pho and the jjam pho, and they really liked their choices. The egg rolls and the vegetable fried rice were quite good as well. Very friendly service. I'll be coming back here for sure.
Wait staff very attentive. Soup taste subtle - great fresh veggie accents.
