Calhoun's

Always excellent.

My stake was ok, only one bite was enough to make my sister sick, she ordered a chicken salad club, and couldn't eat anything after the first bite, it was so bad. Hot chicken salad with melted cheese on top.

Wife and I came for a dinner date. Ordered a full slab of ribs with fries as the bar. Within 10 minutes, food was out and ready. Ribs were delicious as always. Some of the best ribs I've ever had at Calhouns. My daughter ordered her normal cheeseburger which looked very delicious. This was some of the juiciest and tender ribs I've ever had from here! Bravo!

Calhoun's is alright in my opinion. The problem I have with Calhoun's is that they have a very small selection of food. The food is good but it's not anything special. It's kind of like a barbecue place that isn't sure what it wants to be.

I hate giving bad reviews, I feel like I’m really not the pickiest guy at all, but dang.. disregard the “best ribs in America” sign, they were over smoked, flavorless and almost the consistency of beef jerky. Literally chased it down with the sauce, which sucked. Mac and cheese, completely flavorless. The bread tray consisted of a biscuit, a muffin and a random personal sized loaf type thing which made no sense. Got the maple bourbon sour and was genuinely wondering if it had any bourbon in it.. Caesar salad was halfway decent. Just.. don’t do it.
