Cake Girl

Cake Girl is one of the very best gluten free bakeries I have ever been to. Add to that that everything is vegan and soy free, it’s heaven and a beacon for those with food allergies or sensitivities. The service is splendid and the atmosphere at the former soda fountain is nothing short of charming. Their beverages are very yummy and all their baked goods have never failed to be amazing! I usually get my birthday cake here from the case and pick up something for every family holiday. You won’t regret visiting!

I'm not even vegan or gluten-free, I just love the food! The first time I stopped by was for a party I was having and I wanted sweets for people with various dietary restrictions. I wasn't even home before I decided to try one. It was so good, I had to call them and let them know how much I loved it! From what I've heard from other bakeries is... you can do vegan and make it good, or you can do gluten-free and make it good, but it's really tricky to get both together and make it taste right. But Cake Girl makes it taste right! Rich and moist and not too "fake". I refer friends here all the time, and although I normally avoid eating too many sweets, I do love stopping by on occasion for a treat! I love the location and everyone there is really nice!

Hidden Gem. Loved the cupcakes. Simply divine. Definitely go back again.

First time trying a vegan gluten free cake and WOW it was so fresh and tasty! I got a vanilla cake with vanilla icing and fresh raspberry filling. First I was impressed by the smell of the cake it was fresh and dreamy. It tasted like heaven! I’ll definitely order from Cake Girl again.

Was disappointed in the flavor, I've tried better vegan pastries at other locations

These were the best vegan gf cupcakes I have had in Los Angeles. I got the strawberry matcha, the strawberry churro, the hostess, and the apple cinnamon. All were so good, so moist, just the right amount sweetness. My friend who is not vegan gf was amazed. She said if I had not told her, she never would have known and this girl has a refined pallette shall we say. I also got a chocolate chip cookie. That was not really my speed as it was a bit more dry and crunchy. But I look forward to returning to get some donuts and breads to try!! Thank you Cake Girl for making my Birthday ACE!!!
