Cake Box Leicester (Melton Road)

The cakes are nice, however I had a poor customer experience in store. I got 4 slices (3.99 each) which should have been £15.97, however they charged me £19.97. I mentioned this to them and they refunded me £2. However, I realised I was still overcharged and had to correct them for a 2nd time. Mistakes are normal, however this is quite poor from a cake box establishment considering I had to correct their mistake twice. Left feeling disappointed.

1 st birthday of daughter..choose cake box after a good research. And We are happy we made right decision. Lady on reception / Counter guided well. Chef has met us before and understand our need .she made cake very perfect and met expectations Taste was delicious as well Only thing. .must have all numbers( age numbers) so one can find everything under one roof.

Cakes have gone downhill, manager doesn't listen to complaints and ignores calls and emails - yet advises customers to contact via email (funny, that). Choose somewhere else!

A nice celebration was spoiled because your cake was stale and dry. The maltesers and biscuits on top were stale too. Did not enjoy the cake. The standard has dropped, hugely disappointing.

Poor poor customer service all together. Made the order for my daughter birthday cake. Went through the order with lady and the manager (the guy). Had agreed with me on how I wanted the cake, I asked to write my daughter name on the top and the lady said it wasn't possible but manager agreed that they could. Once it was agreed he gave the price which was £60.99. I paid and left with feeling happy, however halfway through my driving home,manger called to tell me that they have under charged me because of the the way I wanted the cake. I don't understand how someone can under charged when everything was agreed face to face and paid for what they asked for. I really don't understand it, bad customer service!!! Anyway he said if I want the cake then I needed to pay over £70 bare in mind I have paid for the cake at the shop £60.99. I couldn't comprehend how they can just let the customers down like this.I was a loyal customer but now I don't recommend buying cake from here it at all. Let me down big time!!!

Lovely soft cakes every time. Our go-to place for birthday cakes.

Good Morning It’s my husband’s 40th Birthday and I just collected our cake from Cake Box Melton Road and thought I would get some balloons from there due to the convenience otherwise I would normally go card factory. I checked the website last night and it said £7.49 for the number balloons and I was told it is £8.99 if I purchase them at the shop I said I couldn’t understand why as it’s not a different shop but I could of got the balloons for £7.49 each if I did it online I just don’t understand. I had so much to do before the guests are arriving so didn’t have much time to argue or order the balloons online so I get them for £7.49 each. Just went away feeling disappointed in the lack of customer services. Hopefully the cake lives up to expectation's.

They always sell fresh cake i mean if you order any size of cake usually you will get in 15-20mins that’s sounds good
