Ample seating, looks nice, good place to hangout with friends. No coffee after 5pm and no laptops on Thursday/Friday evenings or weekends.

One of my go-to coffee shops to work from in NYC! It’s very spacious, decorated in a very fun way with lots of plants and plenty of seating. They also have smoothies along with coffee.

The inside is basically a botanical garden. Simply gorgeous.

Delightful, innovative, chic, and cos(z)y Café+Juicebar

OK so this place is awesome during the day. It gets super packed is the only bummer but the decor, juice bar, and overall vibe is awesome. Five stars. The reason why I’m giving a poor rating is at night they shut down the café and the juice, bar and blast music. The problem with this is it doesn’t fit the vibe at all. It’s completely at odds with what people are doing. It would make sense if the crowd shifted and energy but it doesn’t. People are still there working on their laptops or just chilling and reading. I even saw multiple people try to come in for a drink or chill and turn around once they heard the music blaring at top volume. So my recommendation to the owner is to just keep the vibe going. Maybe offer some charcuterie boards, lite bites and wine, some board games maybe but keep the café menu open and don’t blast music like it’s some rooftop bar in Soho. Go with the flow of the customers. I literally have a headache from sitting in there for an hour. UPDATE I went back in the evening last week, and the music was at a manageable, volume a tad louder than during daytime hours, but nothing crazy. And the coffee side was still open which was a dream! Hopefully this is a habit and consistent going forward because it was great!

Beautiful interior but the coffee is meh and the baristas blast really bad music. Bring noise canceling headphones if you want to get work done
