I come here for the rabbit pasta (coniglio), agnolotti boa and natural wine. There are so few places in AZ that offer any of these, no less all in the same place. I know these guys really care about their wine and beverage program because I have met them at wine fairs and see that they travel to Europe to meet the vintners and love that attention to the wine, because I am the same. I’m definitely a wine nerd. It’s in Tempe which is a bit far for me and parking can be inconvenient if you don’t work or go to school there, but you make sacrifices when cravings hit, right?

Kyla was a joy. I still remember their name after a few days. That's how you know the service was great! I drank the Queen's Gambit. Delectable flavor. The chicken was moist, even the white meat. The tiramisu uses coffee liqueur. A TRUE tiramisu. The cost per person for drinks, appetizer, entrée, and shared dessert for us was ~$75, before tip.

We were so happy that the hostess was able to seat us without a reservation!! We have a wonderful experience at Caffe Boa from the amazing service to the top notch food! Our lovely waitress, Ruth was a gem. She was professional but welcomed us and made us feel at home. Our meal came out quickly. I had the Ros Marino chicken which came with a delicious lemon caper sauce over a half of a chicken, which was perfectly cooked. The side of crispy but light golden potatoes soaked up the amazing sauce. My husband got the spaghetti and meatballs. The sauce was light and smooth and the meatballs were tender and moist. We topped it off with a glass of Perinni primativo which complimented the meal perfectly. It was a great meal!!!

We started with server reprimanding us for changing our decision of sitting outside. Then, they seated us in front of the door in an empty restaurant. There were at least 8 servers doing literally nothing else than joking with each other. It was so uncomfortable having them around us all the time. Nevertheless, they were not attentive, I waited 10 minutes with my glass empty. Overall food and atmosphere was good. However, I do not recommend steak salad as the steak was extremely tough and chewy.

Don’t know how this business still exists. The owners Jay and his wife are arrogant and rude. There’s bugs all over the restaurant. And the food is over priced and under quality. I highly doubt a health inspector has visited this place lately. I think it really just makes its money off of the kids drinking on the weekends. Because the food is terrible, you have to be drunk to eat it.

For starters, we were never told that the still water cost anything until the bill came listing it as over $5.00. Had we been told that it cost so much extra, we would not have ordered it. The pasta was ok but neither me nor my fiancé thought it was worth the price they charge. We tried their fettuccine. The sauce was bland and the mushrooms were gummy and did not have much of a flavor. The server did not really do anything to attend to the table. They just took our order, dropped off our food, and took our plates when we were done. They never asked how the food was or if everything was ok and instead opted to chat with their coworkers. When our water was empty they never asked if we wanted more and instead just brought us the check. The restaurant was also pretty cramped which led to our rating of the atmosphere. Over all just a disappointing experience for what it cost. We do not plan on returning. Parking: If Mill Ave is busy, good luck finding parking anywhere nearby. None of it is reserved for the business and all of it is paid parking. Wheelchair accessibility: The building is wheelchair accessible
