The coffee I got was alright, but there are definitely better ones in the area. The atmosphere is very cool. It's a beautiful place with some gorgeous decorations. However, at least half of the staff wouldn't care if you live or die, and just spend time gossipping and laughing at people, which I found quite disrespectful. At least the person taking my order was friendly, that's the one bright spot. Anyway, I didn't like the attitude both times I went there, so 3/5 for the ambiance and one nice person.
Lovely place for brunch. Their Vietnamese Iced Coffee is really good.
I really enjoy this place. The food is delicious, and the environment is calm and relaxing. I recently relocated offices and am now a block away - looking forward to more visits. The BLTA is awesome.
I have been here a few times, really wanting to love this place. The drinks and ambiance are great! The matchas and mochas are tasty and the backyard patio is really nice. However, the food is fairly expensive and pretty bland. The baristas seem annoyed in general. I know it's not an easy job, but it definitely makes a difference on the experience of going into a cafe
Great atmosphere to work in, very good coffee.
I rate the coffee as “pretty good but not my favorite” and the cafe ambience for chilling/working/meeting friends as great. Nice covered outdoor area in back too. (making an exception to my usual approach of “only rate on food not ambience”, because it’s so nice to have a good cafe to hang out in, in this day of mostly-takeaway mini cafes)
We were shocked to be told we are not allowed to sit where we would like (despite at least 5 tables being open) because only those having brunch can sit where they like - and croissants we got for brunch do not count as brunch in the eyes of management. Instead we weren't told to sit at a tiny table squeezed in the corner by the wall far away from the other tables. The manager listened carefully to our complaint but doubtful we will go back after this rude and discriminatory treatment.
