Cafe W (Inside Waterstones)

One of the best coffee shops in the centre of Manchester to be honest. I frequent this place a lot and the staff are always friendly and polite and the flat whites are always exceptional.

i visited the cafe fairly late last night and asked if i was still able to grab a coffee to sit and read, the lady with red hair behind the counter was more than happy to help!! she was v friendly and offered dairy alternatives before i even had to ask, as well as suggesting the chocolate caramel shortbread to go along with the coffee. another beautiful + pleasant + friendly visit to Arndale Waterstones xxx

Lovely little cafe, one of my favourite places to come to for a coffee and cake while reading. It's a very chilled out atmosphere and for people who are a bigger size, they have some comfy chairs without arm rests, and a couple of sofas! The staff are really friendly too! Vegetarian options: They have plenty of veggie and GF options for cakes Dietary restrictions: I'm lactose intolerant, and they ALWAYS have oat milk as an option. Kid-friendliness: I don't have kids myself, but I've seen how friendly the staff are with kids. They're able to grab books and toys from the kid section which is next to the cafe.

I only purchased a puzzle and books, Great selection of books, lovely staff. Keep up the good work guys.

Great place for beverages, books and for the kids.

Lovely atmosphere. Had tea and cake. Cake dry and old . Looked tasty . Disappointed .
