Cafe Sevilla of Costa Mesa

Food was delicious, ambience was very nice.

We took our friends to cafe sevilla unfortunately the experience we were trying to creat for them failed due to the resturnsts lack of professionalism the staff were rude, unfriendly,unhelpful simply said by me a terible service.. we took our guests there ,I was embarrassed the food was horrible ,service was horrendous . over priced ,pushy on sales .. not acvommedating .food was bad their priorities were only to over sell ... i felt terrible.. i go out to feel special to feel i am taken care of ,that was the least I felt.. I had to wait in line for one and half hour for my reservation ...and the host and the other guard made us feel like we shouldn't even be there no communications we had to force info out of them why we had to wait in line for our reservation .. food was bad and service was bad i felt terrible for going out ..I decided never to go back.. I will spread the word about them. If it wasn't because of the late live band I would give them zero but there is no option for that .. the place is very trashy very dirty super expensive and they find you drunk they over charge you and extra charge you and push drinks and food on you to make more money ... be careful going there if I were u I wouldn't anymore! But to each their own decision. To answer your questions in responce to my review... From your reservation people to your greeting people to your servers to the bartenders to your food or was all bad ...this is not the way to service paying customers who are there to be served and feel special to be taken away from their norm.. you guys r there to serve us not the other way around.. without paying customers u will have no business .. are you a marketing company to respond to my review or a manager or owner ! Who cares for their business.. it's too late to correct this with us .. we found much better place to go to in anahiem it's called isla cuban resturant with live music. Much better food.. anahiem seems to have better options.. belive me I will have my voice heard... life is about experiencing the good and better the service etc...

Service is exceptional.The gentleman who waited on us was knowlegable and well spoken on various dishes. Courteous and attentive.Thank you.

Food is a little pricey but the service and vibe were really good!

This was our first time in this restaurant and definitely last time. We had a reservation but despite that we had to wait hour and a half! The doorman who was standing in front of the entrance to let people stand in the line, was extremely rude and unpleasant and unprofessional. The food was truly bad!! We ordered 4 different foods; Brussel sprouts which was burned, calamari which was too salty, flat bread was ok, paella which we were forced to order by our waitress or leave the table, was extremely dry and salty and the chicken was tasted stale. Then we found out that she (the waitress) lied about the size of the paella to charge us more in order to increase her tip!! When she brought the iPad to pay, she automatically put her tip as 20%!! That was unbelievable! This was a total disaster and rip off for us that go to restaurants on a regular basis and never seen anything like this. I will call the restaurant to talk to the manager and if he doesn’t answer or respond, I’ll call their corporate.

Came here on a Friday for happy hour! We ordered a lot of food and drinks for great prices! Would definitely come again!

The food is so good here and the staff is on point I recommend the short rib tacos. I come here often just be prepared to wait since it’s a very popular spot.

Wow place looks beautiful..nice place to take selfies...the food is excellent..the musician band is great..nice for drinks..food and dancing some Latin music
