Cafe Rio Fresh Modern Mexican

I live close by and I constantly come here. I understand “off days” but I’ve had multiple orders over multiple days with issues. Salads are supposed to come with guacamole but it’s constantly missing in my orders. Today I wanted to give their new bowls a try and I noticed the avocado corn salsa was missing after I left.. Food is great but check your bag before you leave!! This location is known for skipping ingredients.

This place is pretty good. I usually get the salad. It's pretty expensive, though. Almost $20 for salad and drink, but it's a big enough salad to make at least 2 meals for me, and I chose steak which is a $2 upcharge. They have horchata here and it's pretty good. It's a chain so expect chain quality, but good flavor. The place is clean and so is the restroom. The only thing I didn't like is the restroom has a code but no lock inside. So, there's barge-in potential.

Barely got any meat on my order and then they messed up my order and were not very nice. I had to argue to get more meat because I go the tiniest pinch of meat.

The food at cafe Rio is great, but that’s not why I’m writing this review. I come to this specific store over other stores in my area because the staff are always exceptionally friendly, happy to be there and always considerate of my time. I know how busy things can get with online orders and trying to stay on pace with customers coming into the store. If I come and and it takes them a minute to get to me, they apologize for the wait and get you exactly what you need with a smile on their face. I’m addicted to cafe Rio and I drive past several other stores closer to my house to get to this one because they don’t mess up, they’re happy to be there and make some damn good food. The food industry can be a thankless job, but I had to say thanks because I come back consistently because of how nice it is there.

If have been to several Rios. The quality is all over the place. I personally find the protein here is too salty for my taste. Hope y’all can be more consistent.
