Food poisoning. 3:43 am and it’s coming out both ends. I should have hesitated when I saw the Old food, including The container That held the salsa, was covered with a dried filmy/foam top. I’m very disappointed. I have always relied on cafe rio for good food

Food is decent but expensive! I spent over $18 for a burro and drink. And it was not big. I ended up ordering chips and salsa and queso for over $6!

Friends told me to check this place out and I was beyond disappointed. The customer service was horrendous. The gentlemen who made our food was rude and rushed us through even though we told him we’ve never been here before. He had zero customer service skills and made us feel like we were inconveniencing him by being there. However we were the only people in the restaurant ordering at the time. The worker was rolling his eyes as we ordered, as if we weren’t going fast enough for him. I love fast burrito places, but the experience killed it for me. Definitely lost what would have been a loyal customer. Get better employees!

Our recent dining experience at this location left us dissatisfied. Even though it was not busy when we arrived, we still found ourselves waiting for quite awhile before being attended to for our order. Unfortunately, the disappointment didn't end there. The quality of the dishes we received was subpar. The meat lacked flavor, the dressing was underwhelming, and the lettuce was shredded which resembled that of a sandwich shop rather than a fresh salad ingredient. It was gross tasting and we ended up throwing away the food and returned home. We've also noticed a consistent trend across Cafe Rio locations regarding the portioning of lettuce in their salads. Paying around $13 for a salad, one would expect a well put together salad, not merely a garnish of lettuce on top of rice, beans, and meat. This recurring issue has been ruining our overall dining experience. We hope to see improvements in both service efficiency and food quality in future visits or we sadly may have to stop going to Cafe Rio altogether.

Online order is wrong every time I order from here. Order is never ready when it should be. Food is good, but $34 for two salads is just not worth it. Update March 10th - yet another bad experience at this location. Order wasn’t even started 10 minutes after expected pickup time and the restaurant was completely empty. The order was wrong yet again. Missing items, brown lettuce, soupy beans, and a hair underneath the tortilla only discovered once I was almost finished. Disgusting. Will not return.
