I was so excited to try the famous monte cristo sandwich, but I was disappointed. We started off with Gumbo as our starters and it was really good, flavorful with a decent amount of spice. Based on that, we were excited about what was to come, but the mains did not measure up. We ordered Battered & Fried Monte Cristo Sandwich and Beef Bourguignon as our entrees. I was so disappointed with the sandwich as all I could taste was oil. No other flavor profile was coming through. I know people raved about it and still do, so maybe it was just the preparation on that particular day. The beef bourguignon had good flavor, but some of the beef felt a little gelatinous in the mouth. For desserts we had Crème Brûlée Tart, at the table, and Assortment of Macarons, to go. Nothing exciting here. I didn't enjoy the tart shell. Overall, I think it's one and done for me, unless we're with a group and the majority wants to go there.
Omg the beef bourguignon was amazing. So soft and tasty. Will definitely go back. Sorry didn't think of taking a picture until we had already dug in.
Cafe Orleans is a great place to eat at the Disneyland Resort. Great food and good service. Reasonably priced for a sit down restaurant in the park.
The greatest sandwich on Earth. The traditional Monte Cristo at this restaurant is not only my favorite eatery at Disneyland, but my favorite part of Disneyland in general. No trip to the park is complete without this deep fried sandwich stuffed with cheese and meats, covered in powerdered sugar, with jam for dunking on the side. It’s the stuff that sugary dreams are made of.
Yessirr this is the spot.
予約して食べに行きました!ちょっと高級で敷居が高い感じです!
Went here for the Sweetheart’s Nite dinner and neither my wife or I in enjoyed it. When going to Disneyland, time is limited and this place doesn’t respect your time or your reservation time. We were seated 20 minutes after or reservation time, was told they were very behind by the cast member at the door, and then wasted more time getting our preprepped food out of (I’m assuming) a steamer or microwave. The dinners were obviously prepackaged items made somewhere else, kept frozen then warmed to serve. My wife’s plate was some weird canoli thing that had what tastes like bbq sauce on it and was gross. I had Campanelle, which was decent, but I thinks that because I was just hungry. They claim it’s chicken and pork, but it was dry chicken chunks and bacon pieces. The onion soup was good though. After they wasted over an hour of time, I asked for our desserts to be boxed. The lady from the back said “here’s your “boxed” desserts..” and threw them on the table and stormed off. We both had the hurricanes to drink and the rum was barely present. $150 for a special evening dinner that was, at most, worth $50 somewhere else. Food: gross. Service: Ha! Cleanliness: don’t get me started… the wallpaper has seen better days and needs at least a wipe down.
Looved the food, sooo delicious
Monte Cristo sandwich with gumbo is the best!
We went during sweethearts night and they were super backed up, causing us to spend a little more than an hour just waiting around missing a good chunk of the event. They also ran out of dessert for us... For paying 50 dollars per person they should not be running out of food for a prefix menu.. if you're attending any Disney after dark event we recommend not trying this restaurant.
