Love it here! This is the best after work spot to come hang out, dtink, eat and see staff that treats you like family! Special shout-out to the manager Emily!

Good food and great service, however this is a more of a bar than a cafe which surprised us when we walked in

Well, at least when I warm the $14 queso up at home it's hot and has enough chips. Intial success is easy to lay back on, observe your product. We know what was there before. It was great until it was gone.

Mixed Experience at Gecko Restaurant I recently visited Gecko Restaurant, a place I have respected and frequented in this area for years. While I had a generally positive experience interacting with the owners and staff, I unfortunately had an unpleasant encounter with the bartender, Jamieson, which marred our evening. From the outset, it was evident that Jamieson was unhappy and seemed to have a negative attitude towards customers. His demeanor was unfriendly and it felt like he resented his job and the vibrant atmosphere of the restaurant. This negativity seemed to spill over into his interactions with patrons, including myself. It is disheartening to encounter such behavior, especially considering the otherwise exceptional service I have received from the other staff members. I cannot pinpoint the exact reason for Jamieson's behavior, whether it was due to my age or some other issue. However, it was disconcerting to learn that he has exhibited similar rude behavior towards other customers. As I mentioned the incident to friends who were also present at the restaurant, they expressed their own encounters with Jamieson's unpleasant demeanor. This suggests a pattern of behavior that needs to be addressed by the management. In terms of the food, I must admit that it did not live up to my expectations. The quality and taste of the dishes were not as impressive as in previous visits. However, it is important to note that the other staff members and the overall ambiance of the restaurant still held their charm. The warm and inviting atmosphere, coupled with the presence of friends, made the evening enjoyable despite the shortcomings. In conclusion, while Gecko Restaurant has been a place I have respected and enjoyed for years, my recent experience was marred by the negative attitude and poor service exhibited by Jamieson, the bartender. It is disheartening to encounter such behavior from a staff member, especially in a restaurant that I hold in high regard. I hope that the management takes note of these incidents and takes appropriate action to ensure that all customers have a pleasant dining experience.

Came here on a thursday night and it was so much fun!!! Truly phenomenal service and great food. The bartender, Jamison, was cool and entertaining, just what my coworkers and i needed after work!

Lots of vegetarian and vegan choices available.

Great local hang out with good food and great drinks. Lots of regulars & loyal people, so be ready to wait for a seat at the bar. We LOVE Jamison. The no Bullshit effect! He is personable, a great friend and gives great service and is straight to the point. If you can’t handle it, you should go to one of those posh places that pet people, LOL! Customer for life because of him! ❤️ Dietary restrictions: Wings are a great option too!!
