Love this little French bistro for brunch. Blink and you’ll think you’re in Paris instead of NYC. Would highly recommend.
this place is terrible service the hosts are very rude and arrogant I came last year to eat and drink I was greeted very unpleasant, and arrogant way especially the manager, and chef very disappointed I will never go back again ever, I will inform to all my friends and relatives who lives at the area not to participate this place at all. food are not that great at all, steak like a charcoal also they are over price. I hope they go out of business soon. good bye.
Love the food and service.. shout out to David our server.. very attentive and great service overall.. i had the special Ahi Tuna and it’s done perfectly. Highly recommended.
Food was a bit disappointing for French food.
I could not recommend a restaurant on the UES more. Very kind service right from when entered. My table was ready a little earlier than expected, on a Friday evening. EVERYONE there was kind, understanding and helpful ! It was a first meeting/date and everyone from the waiter to staff charged with cleaning the table was happy, smiling and friendly! In particular, i hope that EVERYONE has an opportunity to meet a young man who took over our table towards the end/ desserts. I believe the original waiter needed to leave a bit early perhaps. This gentleman with a goatee was FUNNY, helpful and EXTREMELY knowledgeable, particularly about the desserts and I mean EVERY dessert! This young man made the end of our meal not only special but noteworthy and wanting both of us to return to celebrate our first date at Cafe d'Alcsace ! By the way, everything from the Salmon appetizer and the onion soup, to the Octopus entree was exceptional, exceptional exceptional.
It’s a UES neighborhood gem. Everything I’ve had has always been great from brunch, to dinner, and even their restaurant week menus. Amazing cocktails and coffee as well.
