Hidden gem on the Peninsula w true thick Italian coffee (Giuliano is Ethiopian and Italian, he knows his stuff) Giuliano makes organic sandwiches- also great place to get fresh carrot juice, and wheatgrass This place is a real Burlingame local treasure that us locals have been going to for years. I have been going here since '94 If you want an authentic vibe it really doesn't get more authentic than this, and nice and cozy - good vibes, and Giuliano and Ester are sweathearts

Esther and Giuliano, are just two amazing people! We stopped here purely based on reviews, and it did not disappoint. The coffee was absolutely wonderful! My wife is the coffee drinker and said her latte was one of the best she's ever had. I'm not big on coffee, but if we lived near here I'd come everyday because the coffee was so good. But what truly sets them apart is their hospitality. From the moment we walked in until we left, they were both so sweet and genuine. This will be a must stop everytime we're in SF from now on.

Lovely owners and delicious cappuccino

What a warm and lovely neighborhood place. It is small. Only a couple tables but the couple who owns it are the sweetest. Everyone in there seemed to be a regular but were warm and inviting to us newcomers. Coffee was flavorful and excellent. Menu is limited but the food was super fresh and well priced. We will definitely be back.

Best in the immediate neighbourhood! Cozy,with character and welcoming. Ran by a generous and attentive (elder) couple who have had the place for 30 years. I advised they increase their prices because they are far from competitive in cost. A true community gem

Esther and Giuliano have been running their shop just off Broadway in Burlingame for 30 years - they make a delicious cup of coffee. The shop is cozy and warmly decorated - it’s one of the only cafes I’ve been to in the US that feels like the small, inviting coffee shops you find in Europe, but with the addition of delicious Ethiopian coffee.
