I travel to this area for work on occasion and this is my go to. Super friendly people and the food is great. The spicy fries LOAD up on the spice! I've tried almost all their banh mi and they rock!

This was the best vegetarian pho I have ever had. The broth was rich and flavorful. The fried tofu was yummy. The noodles were chewy. Personally, I would have preferred smaller carrot chunks, but everything else about the soup was overwhelmingly positive. I would come back again any day of the week. Vegetarian options: There is vegetarian pho and the buddha sandwich.

Not the same quality or service as prior visits. Today was the most notable indicator of this change. Ridiculously long wait for being the only to-go order (and only patron). Increased price and significantly less protein portion on the Spicy Beef Noodle. Cafe Bunh Mi SSF used to be my go-to spot if I was craving BBH without having to go to San Jose. Now it's just pepper flake pho. Will definitely make the effort to go to San Jose from now on.

I went here specifically for the crispy duck banh mi. I originally had it at the Clement location, loved it, but it was too far from my house. First time I went, I noticed the high prices compared to other places in the area but I’m willing to pay money for good food. I ordered the crispy duck banh mi for my family, and we were all suitably impressed enough to go back. The bread did not seem very fresh but nothing a broil in the toaster oven couldn’t fixed. There were certainly plenty of duck in every bite! The second time we went was just before the holidays, the bread were again somewhat stale. The duck was a lot less about half the amount when we first went. We get it, duck is expensive and there are different chefs working at any given day but half the amount of duck from the previous visit? Maybe you should do what other delis do and weigh your meat so they’re all the same portions? The third visit was about a month later immediately after the holidays. My sister bragged about it to her boss that she convinced her to get the crispy duck banh mi. We were embarrassed! There were just a few sliver of duck that we couldn’t even taste them in some bites. Bread was, of course, slightly stale. If the restaurant was running low on duck, maybe just advertise them as sold out instead of charging customers $15 for some pickled veggies. Clement location might be farther but we’ll probably just drive there since we actually want duck when we pay $15 for duck banh mi.

My wife and I tried this for this first time today and really liked our food. The garlic noodles with five spice chicken was delicious. Throw in a lemongrass steak or five spice chicken bahn mi sandwich and you can’t go wrong.
