Cafe Bourbon St.

First time trying this food truck and we went in person. Worker asked if we ordered online and we replied no. She never spoke to us again. She kept working and did not acknowledge us any further. We were trying to ask questions about items on the menu. Worker had ear buds in and had no basic customer service skills. Food was subpar. Beignets were from a Cafe Du Monde mix and over cooked.

Went here based off the reviews and it did not live up to the hype. Fries could have been cooked longer and they were overly season but there was no ketchup to help with that. They only have certain sauces that are offered; but ketchup is a normal basic condiment. I got the wing and fries combo and it was just eh. My mom got the shrimp basket and it was eh. My sis got multiple items and again those were eh. Nothing ordered was worth what we paid and none of it has us wanting to come back. Only good thing was the powder sugar beignets.

The fries were extremely soggy and piled with seasoning. The cook said they could make some more but I would have to wait another 30 minutes. The egg-roll was soggy. The appearance of the staff was dirty and the service was non-existent.

This was my first time trying this amazing food. I loved it all. The sauce is a banger! I love the location for it. It’s open and not too far from the West End. The process to order you food is straightforward. Wait time wasn’t that long. I enjoy the egg rolls a lot. I wish this amazing place was closer to the Southside, however I don’t mind traveling for amazing food that’s feels like the NOLA. Must try again. This place has good food

I ordered a bunch food from them, one of my plates was not there when I got home. I have been trying to get in contact with some type of customer service. You cannot physically talking to anybody. You can only text, but nobody answers back. Kid-friendliness: N/A
