Best espresso in the university area. I’ve been working here for a few years and I love this place. They use their own freshly roasted beans that they sell in store. Cute older gentleman always sitting to the right every time you walk in with a whole bunch of books — does he own the shop?! Unfortunately, I had to put three stars because every time I go my latte cost a different price and sometimes I even get a different size than the size I ordered.
It’s okay. The coffee is pretty good but it’s too loud because of the music and the workers aren’t always nice. The location is pretty unique though which I like.
The atmosphere is super nice. And the roots reggae adding to that. The coffee is good too and I took the banana bread cause I wanted something but not too sweet. The banana bread was perfect.
Maybe Seattle's oldest coffeehouse, tiny, always busy, university crowd, good espresso coffee
Chill coffee shop behind the busy university ave; medium roast beans for espresso; a great place to read or work Parking: Bike parking, otherwise you have to find paid street parking
Quaint little spot. Good (but not great) Americano
