Nice to dine without the mob scene of "in" restaurants.....a very pleasant place and we will return!

3rd time over several months. Food is wonderful. Service was lacking 2/3 of the meals, with the same disappointing server for those 2. I would have had a second glass of wine, but server wasn’t around. Had to ask 4 different times to have water refilled. Server brought a box for leftovers and didn’t offer dessert menu. After asking for it, we did order some. I don’t know if he assumes women won’t tip well so a party of two women can be ignored? This time I did not tip my restaurant standard of 25%. It is too bad the service dimmed what could have been a good experience because the food is excellent.

The food is delicious but the service was less than attentive for a place of this caliber. We had cioppino, beet salad, burrata, all of which were delicious. Just wished they were more attentive with refilling our glasses.

Overpriced, small portions, the server was terrible. It was obvious he was trying to squeeze every penny out of us he could. Screwed up our order. They made up some dessert concoction he had originally said they were out of stock on then brought us something we knew wasn’t what we’ve ordered in the past just so he could gouge us even more. The kicker was when I got the ticket 600 for 8 of us (no one had leftovers to bring home except one of us because they disliked their entree so much they couldn’t eat it) they included a 20% gratuity which was fine (although the server didn’t earn it) then gave tipping suggestions of 20,25,30%. The server, of course, didn’t mention gratuity was already included which should always be done. That’s the second and last time I’ll ever eat there. Absolutely terrible experience for my daughter’s 17th birthday.

Posh Italian restaurant. New Years Eve was super busy, and lots of customers dining. Two of my companions had a rigatoni dish, which they said was great, and I had an eggplant Parmigian appetizer because I wasn't too hungry. It was bigger than I expected but really good. John, our waiter, was very helpful and attentive and so much fun. We chatted a bit in between him, running back and forth between other tables as it was so busy. The twinkling lights surrounding the restaurant gave it a fantasy Wonderland effect, very beautiful. It was a great evening with my friends.

My visit started a little bumpy after waiting unnoticed at the desk in an empty restaurant for 5 minutes. We were finally seated and greeted by John O'Conner, our server, who was excellent and attentive. The appetizer was terrific, and our meal choices were salmon and short rib, both fantastic.
