I was Pleased by the reviews and pictures of this place but Unfortunately, the Meal Was Very Disappointing. I Was Really Hoping to like the Place, I Mean The Atmosphere Was Great but the Food Was not. My Meal Was overcooked. I Got the Lobster Navarin and it Was Very Unpleasing. I Never Like Leaving 1 star Reviews but i think Everyone needs to know this.
Terrible service. Average food that is so overpriced …
The food, ambiance, and service was incredible. Such a fantastic restaurant! An absolute must when at Atlantis.
We did a walk in while walking in the area and you can see the place gets filled in fast. However, I do want to add we did not love the energy at the front desk when we walked in. They seemed to find it amusing that we did not have a reservation and we did not feel completely welcomed. They did get us a table though so rest of the evening went okay. However, that first cold feeling made an impact on us. Rest of the service was good, food was pretty good too. It is a beautiful spot, we loved the wine they recommended. I would say make a reservation if you want to go.
Seems like the vibe got lost somewhere along the way. Food was just ok. Portions were French, there wasn't really a Bahamian influence anywhere. Meh.
Amazing staff that really listened. We had a baby so we were in the back but it was a nice atmosphere. The food was really tasty too.
We attended the gospel brunch. The food was fresh and there was a large variety on the buffet. The stations were well attended and the staff checked on the platters and replaced every 10 to 15 minutes so the food was fresh at all times. There was also an al a carte menu for the hot food that was delicious and served piping hot which is always a challenge in a large restaurant. The Shabat Gospel band was fantastic. I would definitely purchase a concert ticket to hear these talented singers and musicians. I am going to end this review with a shout out for our servers Nathanial and Justin. They were attentive, polite and efficient. We could not have been any happier with the service they provided. They are a true asset to Cafe Martinique and to the hospitality industry in which they have chosen to work.
My husband enjoyed the mushroom soup. The rest of the food we ordered was not the best. I ordered the lamb and if the meat was cooked nice, the sauce they put on top damaged everything. Escargots I ordered as appetizer were good but again, the sauce wasn’t pairing good. My daughter chose the mushrooms ravioli, Was little surprised seeing only one piece and again,if the ravioli was good, the sauce wasted the flavor. I really wanted to not leave disappointed and ordered 3 desserts ,can’t say I enjoyed eating them. And the coffee, omg ,why you guys don’t think in investing in a good coffee machine. The coffee was worse than the soluble one. The service and servers were really nice though. The interior of the restaurant nice. One thing I really disliked was the elevator not working,so being with an infant in stroller and not being able to use the elevator wasn’t fun! Kid-friendliness: The elevator wasn’t working,so being with a kid in a stroller is tough.
