This restaurant was AMAZING! it was not my first time trying Uyghur food in Chicago but this restaurant was on another level!!!
Everything on the menu is good. Literally everything. 10/10 will be back.
The food is amazing. Host is super nice. The cuisine is actually ethnic. Would recommend Gesh Naan and Kazan Kebab and Samsy.
The noodles didn’t have much beef and were greasy. The dumplings were extremely dry and had a lot of tendon instead of meat. Service was nonexistent. No tap water service and tried to charge $4 for cold bread we thought was complementary. Almost $50 for not much food or service.
Very tasty noodles are prepared here. Always fresh dishes and most importantly halal. Welcoming and friendly staff. I highly recommend this place to anyone who loves delicious food.
The best noodles in town Ordered Boso lagman, now words
Just a wonderful dinning experience. I’ve been a fan of Uyghur cuisine for a long time and had the privilege of enjoying it in several countries, but this is one of the best places I’ve had the cuisine. I would say this place is a must visit for anyone that finds themselves in the Rogers Park/West Ridge area, as well as for anyone who hasn’t been introduced to Uyghur food yet. They also had a nice selection of foods from Central Asian and Eastern Europe such as Varenyky (Ukrainian Dumplings), that said the Laghman is definitely the way to go.
Very authentic Uyghur food, and the staff are so sweet and welcoming! Loved the gesh naan and dapanji. Servings are huge. I will come back to support - we need more mom and pop shops like this to thrive in the city!
