Long wait to be sat, approached by staff, and receive food without there being any sort of line. The driest breakfast burrito I’ve ever had. Breakfast potatoes looked amazing, tasted bland soft with no crunch, crispiness. Avg American breakfast food with above avg prices. Would not come back.
Before I found a hair in my chicken fried steak it was good eggs were eggs they're hash browns suck way too big what they call there burger need to be just taken off the menu my wifes food was good she had a good experience me i did not will probably never return. I think i jist have bad luck or getting the worst out places. And not worth the price.
Great food! Had the banana French toast today which was so delicious. I asked for my egg to be over medium and it was served over easy (I let it slide it was still yummy). The wait for food tends to be long I’ve noticed, even in the mid morning weekday we waited 20 minutes. Service received is average with an occasional server going out of their way to be nice. It all depends on the service person but I’ve noticed overall servers at this restaurant are less friendly than other restaurants I frequent in the same area. So, if you’re good with just really delicious food and don’t care about the service, go! It’s a unique restaurant (inside pink Cadillac) and I’ve been going here for years so I’ll probably keep going on occasion when I crave one of their dishes. Update: Haley gives 5 star service! We ate there a couple of weeks ago and Haley is amazing! I’ve updated my stars on service because of her so it all depends upon who your server is for sure!
We had an excellent breakfast! We both got the bunkhouse vittles plate. Super yummy! Edit: Returned a couple years later and got the same exact thing This time with vegan sausage which was just as good if not better! This time got a hazelnut mocha latte, see picture. Extremely good! Vegetarian options: Things on the menu were marked with a red leaf when vegetarian substitutes were available
Good food and lovely wait-staff. But a credit card tip screen that starts off with 25% as the first option and then only goes down to 20% is simply offensive. Pay the staff more and raise prices rather than publicly guilting patrons into subsidizing restaurant profits. It creates terrible feeling for all involved (including the wait-staff), even when customers stick with the “25%”.
If you have no taste buds this is the place for you. They are catering to a very bland demographic.
