Buttermilk & Bourbon

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at Buttermilk and Bourbon. I booked a reservation online a couple of days before and when I arrived on time I was seated right away. The waiter and hostess were very nice upon entering the restaurant. I loved the open kitchen design and the vibrant colorful but simple decor of the interior of the restaurant. I ordered the House Special Buttermilk Fried Chicken Thighs, Signature Warm Honey Glazed Biscuits, and Wagyu Burger Sliders. Everything tasted amazing, the biscuits were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside with a sticky honey glaze over the type. Served with two different spreads, one a jalapeno cheese, and one a cinnamon amaretto butter, both offered different but unique flavors to the dish. The Fried Chicken Thighs were crispy on the outside and incredibly juicy on the inside well seasoned and served with a savory fluffy waffle along with a sweet and spicy syrup. The Wagyu burger sliders were simple yet packed with flavor. I think that the price point was very reasonable for the quality of the dishes. Will definitely return for more!

My husband and I were excited to go Buttermilk and Bourbon, it had come highly recommended by so many people. Well as usual we were disappointed. The biscuits were excellent and that's where my praise ends. The "Catfish" and chips was bland and vehicle for remoulade. The hot and sweet thighs tasted of burnt bbq sauce. We won't be returning.

Been going there for many years! Outstanding drinks and a curated menu with a Southern twist.

Amazing staple for Boston. It can get a little loud at times, but the food and drinks are worth it. Any time a friend visits from outside of Boston, I try and take them here! Hope they bring the alligator fries back! The beignets and biscuits are great!

The portions were a much smaller than expected, but the food was good overall. I'm from Louisiana, so I did think it wasn't as flavorful as I would've liked. Great food and overall experience, though!

We went thinking it would be a good average spot but totally blew us away with how amazing everything was. Very good prices & 10/10 food. Sweet&Spicy wings.. just get them!!
