Busaba Erie

Erie location- It is with great sadness I post this review. The food here is excellent, however, my last experience here left me never wanting to back due to the customer service I encountered. I placed a to-go order, cashew chicken which comes with rice, that’s 50%of the meal (not the most costly part but 50% none the less too make it a complete meal). My husband picked it up and when he got home… no rice. Ok it was an accident I get it but we weren’t wanting to go back so I called and the girl on the phone said she would issue an in store credit (we paid cash) for the meal. She said it would be on file with the manger for the next time I came in. I made myself rice to eat that night and that was that. A few weeks later I called to place an order and redeem my credit and here is where the issue comes in. The girl who answered the phone said she had no idea what I was talking about, she then got a (female) manager in the phone. She said they don’t do credits like that. Well, I’m not employed at this establishment and I don’t know how they do it but this is what I was told. She said she would give me a second order of rice with my order….. uhhhh what am I going to do with 2 orders of rice with 1 meal?!? So she then offered me a $2 credit. Seriously $2!!!!! I told her to cancel my order I would never be back. I then wrote an email to the owner to explain the events I experienced. I never got a response. It’s been over a month now. Costumer service is huge in this industry. I do like this restaurant but will not return.

This is my new favorite Thai spot! Anna, our server, was phenomenal. I had a great dirty martini along with delicious and steaming hot food. 10/10 recommend!

Eating at busaba was a great dining experience. I had the Pad See Ewe and it was the best thing I've ever tasted, My server was Matt and he was quick and attentive, I 100% plan on coming back with my family

Food was okay, the service was great and friendly. But I'm concerned about a few sanitation issues. First our table was soaked from the multiple use rag they used to wipe it with.. Napkins were placed in the middle of this water. Wiped it ourselves and got new napkins. Then the young girl bussing a table was putting the water from half used water glasses back into the bottle it came in. Hopefully this bottle is sanitized before refilling?? Then another young bussing person picked up one of the glasses from this same table, held it up to the light to see if it was clean and took it to the bar rather than sending it back to the kitchen, with the other classes, to be washed. Don't know what happened to the unwashed glass that went to the bar. Don't plan on eating there again!

Both my wife and I had food poisoning yesterday after eating the takeout from Busaba Erie. Really happy when we know that we have a new Budaba in Erie but turned out there are safety issues at the Erie location. Will definitely avoid in future and visit the Louisville location as usual.

Busaba Thai at the Erie location exceeded my expectations in every aspect. The moment I walked in, the warm and inviting ambience set the tone for a delightful dining experience. The restaurant struck a balance between modern elegance and traditional Thai charm, making it a visually pleasing space to enjoy a meal. Now, let's talk about the star of the show – the food. The shrimp curry I ordered was a masterpiece. The flavors were a perfect symphony of spices, and the freshness of the ingredients was evident with every bite. It was a culinary journey that left my taste buds singing praises. Busaba Thai at Erie location has successfully combined excellent customer service, a charming ambience, and delicious food to create a dining experience that is nothing short of exceptional. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a memorable Thai culinary adventure.

Atmosphere was perfect, beautifully decorated inside ,so clean and modern food was great wife and i loved our food and will be back , our server was Tallia !! She was amazing and attentive nice to have great service ,thats how places used to be . Thank you to all the staff and the cooks .. excellent Parking: Normal parking lot tight outside the restaurant.

Possibly the best panang curry I've ever had. I got the veggie and added smoked salmon from the grocery store.
