This place is always spotless. The worker that makes the food has the food area very clean the meats are good flavors are good authentic mexican food

THIS RESTAURANT HAS BEEN IN BUSINESS AT THIS LOCATION FOR 15 YEARS. IT IS LOCATED AT THE CORNER OF VENTURA RD & SECOND STREET IN OXNARD CALIFORNIA. I WAS THE FIRST CUSTOMER WHEN THEY FIRST OPENED. THE FOOD SERVED IS ALWAY FRESHLY MADE EVERYDAY AND IS VERY GOOD AND FLAVORFUL. PRESENTLY AS OF MARCH 2022 THERE IS INDOOR DINING AND THERE ARE TABLES OUTSIDE FOR DINING AND THERE IS ALSO CALL IN TAKEOUT ORDERS TO GO. AL VELASQUEZ SR. " UPDATE " THIS PLACE IS NOW UNDER NEW OWNERSHIP. WITH A NEW FOOD MENU THAT IS QUITE DIFFERENT FROM THE OLD MENU AND NOT AS FRESH. I PREFERRED THE OLD FRESHLY AND TASTEFUL FOOD AND MENU AND CUSTOMER SERVICE. I NO LONGER PATRONIZE THE ESTABLISHMENT LIKE I ONCE USE TOO.

If I could give zero for service I would. They NEED TO WRITE THE ORDERS DOWN!!!!! Everytime I order they mess it up. I hate needing to babysit them while my order is being made. Then I say something, because they are giving me the wrong thing and she says "well I can't remember everything. Service is negative 10. They charge way to much money to be so terrible!

The food is wonderful! Try the el rey burrito if you can eat that much! The fruit, smoothies and horchata are great too! The salsa bar is small but fresh. Great staff.
