I've come here every time I've gone to Chimney rock, they have the most beautiful view and delicious Brussel sprouts.
Enjoyed being here and the atmosphere. Had a nice server but on our second flight, that I was splitting, I received a lecture that some woman threw up for half a day after a second flight. It was weird coming from a place that serves wine and getting a talking to like she was my mother. We had the equivalent of two large glasses of wine. Felt awkward.
Welcoming staff and the food is delicious. Best part is definitely the wine tasting.
Stopped by here during New Year’s weekend for a tasting/flight. We did the sweet tasting and enjoyed the apple wine. It has a unique taste. The staff was extremely welcoming, came back to check on us and also offered some suggestions on the most scenic route back to our hotel in East Asheville. Great experience overall.
Good service, nice atmosphere. I ate a late lunch out on the front porch area with my wife and dog. Nice view of Chimney Rock from the outside dining area. It was a bit chili this time of year. I wish they had outdoor heaters. The good was excellent and it was nice to do a wine flight!
My family and I decided to stop here for lunch and it was certainly a treat. Everything was delicious. My wife brought home some dessert wine that she absolutely loves.
Very disappointed. Was so looking forward to a tasting while enjoying our trip to chimney rock! Staff was rude. We spoke to two employees both who were frustrated and annoyed we even came in. One employee informed us that they had been non stop all day and hadn’t even had a chance to use the restroom and that’s why they were all grumpy. I totally understand but we were just customers who came in for a Wine tasting during business hours so we really didn’t appreciate how we were treated. So just make sure if you want to be welcomed and have a good experience to go on a slow day !
