I love this place, and despite living right near Mandalay and Burma Superstar, when we want Burmese food we walk a bit farther to eat here. I find the food to be of a higher quality, with a nicer home cooked quality as opposed to the more oily restaurant feel elsewhere. Staff is always super lovely and appreciative, and even the prices are lower. Recommend giving it a try, especially the tea leaf salad, the coconut chicken soup, and the pork with pickled mango at a minimum, but we’ve liked everything we’ve had here.

Delicious dishes, with several specialties I've not seen at any other restaurant in SF. Very kind service as well!

What a pleasant surprise for our first time here. Samosas were piping hot. BK tea leaf salad was delightful, full of flavor - would definitely get that again. Tofu salad was excellent. Vegetarian garlic noodles were a little different, almost like angel hair vermicelli - interesting and flavorful but not sure we'd get it again. Garlic ginger pork curry was excellent. This place will go into our regular rotation.

Not amazing as I was quite shocked at the price for the amount of food I ordered. I got the garlic noodle with chicken but there was barely any chicken. The chicken that was in it was a bit strange. Maybe I just ordered the wrong dish for my liking. Will try again. The samosas were amazing! Would have preferred another portion of these for my dinner.

I'm pretty shocked at all the good reviews here. Everything was so incredibly greasy. The home-made tofu was like blocks of vegetarian lard and just had a really *off* flavor, and the sauce was so so oily. The fried rice was just soaking wet with oil, like a sauce. Just all around pretty poor, especially for the price and considering that there are excellent Burmese options nearby. The samosa soup was okay, but not nearly as good as other places. Again, the samosa and falafel pieces were just too greasy.

Lovely dinner with friendly, easygoing service. I also really liked the Eggs in Tamarind Sauce (which reminds me of a family sambal telur dish). There were a ton of vegetarian options too.
