Honestly, this restaurant is such a hidden gem inside QCM's food court! I ordered the coconut curry chicken soup and the kaneef palat, both were absolutely delicious and bursting with flavor. The prices are great for the amount of food they serve. Highly recommend!
When packing for delivery, please make sure the staple is not poking out, it’s dangerous for both adults and kids.
Love that this place is in the mall food court
I ordered the vegan pea paleta it’s super good vegan dish 9.1/10 The coconut chicken noodle soup was a delicious meal 10.9/10 It will definitely satisfy you. The tea is not good, it tasted old and burnt 0/10 When I ate the chicken paleta I was disappointed also because the meat was not fresh and the bread was very greasy 5/10. I do like the service and the staff though they are very nice people and have good budget affordable prices.
So good! Best spot in Queens Center
Having grown up in Burma, I’ve tried a lot of Burmese restaurants across SF and LA and I have to say that the food here truly hits the spot — not only are they full of flavor, they might be the most authentic Burmese dishes I’ve had outside of Burma. They’re also super affordable, most mains ~$10! All the dishes are amazing, but you really have to try the Burmese biryani, tea leaf salad, and chicken curry naan. Thankfully they also are available in delivery apps (though be cautious ordering soupier dishes) so I already ordered another dish to have before I fly out of NY! Cannot recommend enough
Really good food. The flavours might be a bit strong for some people but its delicious. Faluda was delicious too. I wish I could have tried shaved ice tho. They were out when I went there.
I always order a keema palata because it’s been my favorite dish since visiting the Burmese Bites stall at Queens Night Market in Corona. The way it’s made is fascinating to see. The dough is spread out very thinly and placed on the grill where it is then topped with a minced chicken filling. It’s very similar to mughlai paratha in Bangladeshi cuisine but has a different touch of flavor. The finished product tastes great with the cucumber yogurt sauce. My only issue is with the oily texture which can sometimes overpower the flavor and quality of the dish. Other than that the keema palata is a hit.
