Burger Lounge

Doubtful sanitation, staff with long hair no hats or hair nets. Eating a service counter with hands and no wash before food handling. Food is ok, but relatively expensive. Need to do basic food handling and customer service training. Just the minimum is fine.

We asked for the heater to be turned on, but it looks like we either were not welcomed or they are cheap about it. In either case. I am not coming back to this place.

Best burger I've ever had

A brilliant place for burgers! Friendly staff and delicious burgers. We got there a bit early and didn't have to wait for a table, but the place filled up quickly for dinner. Many patrons seem to be from around the neighborhood. We're from out of town and took a few laps around the block to find parking.

The staff here are unreal! Super quick and kind service, spotless eating areas with plenty of patio seating. My kids were stoked to get a real good veggie burger, and it was a decent enough size for a kids meal. Wonderful spot, short walk up from the water front. Highly recommended! Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian choices- multiple types of burgers and vegan nuggets. Kid-friendliness: My veggie-burger loving kid said it was the best they’ve ever had.

I'm too old to be eating tasty greasy burgers so I had their Impossible Burger and a non dairy vanilla shake. Both were great! PLUS I watched the Super Bowl on their TV! Though the Lounge is located on a prime corner in prosperous LaJolla the prices are reasonable. Parking: Hey it's Southern California where parking is a challenge

Only 1 cook during valentines day

Out of all of the Burger Lounge locations, this is by far the worst. Not only is the service EXTREMELY slow (it doesn’t matter what day or time you come), my order is almost never right. I’m not sure why, but the staff just can’t seem to get it together. Today was my final time attempting to eat at this location. They were beyond unprepared and had only two members of staff in the store for Valentine’s Day and the wait for one burger and a regular fry was TWO HOURS. Two hours for one burger. I cancelled my order and ate elsewhere. It’s too bad because if staffed and managed properly this could be an excellent location but I just don’t think it will ever get there unless there’s a massive change.
