I ordered through the Burger King app, and when I received my order, two of my drinks were missing. I followed the normal procedures, reported the items missing and then received an email informing me that I could receive a $5 credit for it. For one, that didn’t amount to the value of the missing items and two, I did not want to reorder anytime soon; I wanted my refund of my money. I politely informed them that I wanted to receive my refund as I wasn’t interested in a credit and Customer Service proceeded to offer me a $10 credit instead. When I asked why I couldn’t receive a refund, Customer Service couldn’t give me a substantial reasoning. So basically what I was being told, was that I was going to have to take the credit and strong-arm me into yet ANOTHER purchase, which is not what I wanted to do. On top of the fact that this was the negligence of THEIR employees! A million to billion dollar company and they refuse to refund you around $10 of your hard earned money. It may just be $10, but you don’t know what people are going through to tell them they can’t get their money back. Not only that, when I asked for a more in depth reasoning as to why, I never received a response, let alone the credit. I’ve been a patron of this Burger King my whole life, but as of now I won’t be, nor at any other Burger King establishment, and I’ll be sure to inform others to not participate in eating with the company either. This was unacceptable, unprofessional, and disgusting. Never again, there’s plenty of other eateries in the Bay Plaza area anyways, and I recommend whoever is reading this to go somewhere else to eat or have delivered because you will encounter these problems too.
