Burger Island

Dinning room updated since 2 years I’ve been there. Few new menu items. Still banging great burgers quality had not changed so as the paddy’s portion. The price is little bit steep but considering the amount of food you get not far off from fare. But $6 more to make it a combo is a bit outrageous. Paid $17 and some change for The Double Jungle burger plus fries and a drink. So I guess it’s average lunch price for the current economy.

Huge burgers..I got the bacon burger and was shocked to see the size

We have been here a handful of times. The first few times we awesome. The staff were welcoming and friendly, as they were on this last trip as well. This being said my food this time was a no go. I had the fancy BLT as in previous times because it was excellent. On this day I do not know what they did different but to say it was a let down is an understatement. The bacon itself tasted and smelled like burnt plastic. I could not eat it. I got my hubby to try it and he said it was awful. We couldn't get that taste out of our mouths for one an hour. In the other hand the hubby in love with there Philly sandwich. It's his new favorite. Needless to say we will probably go back but I will never ever eat the bacon again. I must say I'm kind of let down. We truly loved this little place before with not a thing bad to say about it. So from now on I will proceed with caution.

It took almost 30 minutes to get and order of cheese fries with bacon and jalapeños. And the ranch tasted like grocery store ranch (they charged me extra for it)
