Burg Steakhouse

Now I will say, I got this to go. However, I don’t know who just tosses a crème brûlée into a Togo box upside down. Looked like a pile of puke. The salmon dish I got was in no way worth 40+ dollars. The salad was decent. The cheese cake was good.

I came in with my grandchildren. I eat one baby mushroom a bit mashed potatoes and my 2 year old grandson had piece of corn he could not chew. I was nasty. I drank a Pepsi. My granddaughter didn't eat. I was charged almost $14. For a Pepsi. It was disgusting.

Overall experience was pretty cool! The restaurant is located on the second floor and the inside decoration is similar to mid century gothic and definitely gave me vampire vibes. Our waitress was very sweet and attentive. Be prepared to spend $100 plus for 2 people. You’ll pick your entree(meat) and have full access to a Buffet with side dishes. It was a fun experience but would only be a special occasion meal due to the price.

My girlfriend and I had been wanting to try Burg's for a few trips, but some of the strange reviews kept us away. We finally decided to go for a Valentine's dinner, and we were not disappointed. From the decor, it felt like we were about to dine with knights of the round table, but we thought it was kinda awesome. We both got the filet, mine medium rare, and hers medium well. They both came out perfectly cooked, and looked great on the plate. More importantly they tasted great! The side buffet threw us a bit, but we tried a little bit of everything. The mac & cheese was some of the tastiest I've ever had. Don't forget to ask about the free dessert. They do this from time to time, but you have to ask your server. You might get a bit of sticker shock when you look at the prices, but don't forget that the salad and sides are included. We will absolutely be back!
