BUNSIK Korean Street Food

I want to give 5 stars, but I had just two problems: I ordered the squid with rice and there was waaaay more onions with squid. I also ordered the bulgogi kimbap and while eating I hurt my tooth biting down. Turns out there was a small, sharp piece of bone in my food. What I did get tasted good, but I really wish there was more squid and that I also didn’t hurt my tooth. What if I had swallowed the bone???

Great food! The place was a little hard to find since it wasn’t noticeable but all I had to do was look up at the sign. The place recently opened and the staff was very helpful in helping me decide what to order. In this case I had the Pork Cutlet. The pork was a little dry but the sauce made up for it. They had a lot of other options but since it was my first time I went with what they recommended. I would definitely recommend it!

Really enjoyed all the dish and soju here. The soju was sweet but not too sweet and it didn't taste like 12% I got: curry rice cutlet: 10 Spicy tuna sushi: 8 Apple mango soju: 10 They were so nice the staff offered a free house soju shot!! Also the kimchi is to die for.

The food here is amazing and the service matches the quality of the food. A true gem.

Great customer service, no issue with the food at all, although fries could’ve been done a little crispier. Overall cute bar/restaurant tucked away near Union. Edit: revisited and the seasoned fries are now holyyyy good best bang for your buck nowadays

Delicious restaurant, a little hidden gem. I hope they last a long time because the food is amazing. Love the bulgogi triangle and the cheese pork cutlet and the japchae is great.

I couldn’t get the name of the worker. But she was such a sweetheart. Her personality is like the sun. The moment you walk in, till she greets you with the biggest smile and a very welcoming hello. The food was delicious. The service is the greatest. I’m very happy I found out about this restaurant. I will definitely come back. But this time I will be back with my husband.

updated one; I was able to come for dinner with my husband this time. He was actually very excited to try Bunsik Korean Street food (I’ve been talking about street food from Korea since forever) he loved the food. He loved the service. And he definitely wants to come back. I still couldn’t get the name of the server. No matter how busy the restaurant was. Her vibes is always the greatest. Really the friendliest person I’ve ever seen in the restaurant industry.. my husband also said he definitely wants to come back for brunch and dinner again. Yall; I kid you not, the service & the food is phenomenal. You can’t get this service ANYWHERE ELSE. EVEN WITH A FULL HOUSE. MUCH LOVE TO THE RESTAURANT AND TO THE SERVER. You will definitely see my husband, my best friend and I again. I promise my husband and I will be a regular customer here. :))))
