The flavor of the meats was seasoned exceptionally well, however, it took nearly 40 minutes to get our meal and the meats were cold when we did get them. (Saturday at 4 pm, and it was not that busy, there was only one person in front) On top of that, what is with the INCONSISTENCY of size in sandwiches? Before coming here I did hella research on Bahn Mi places near me and this place had raving reviews and pictures on the quality and size yet our sandwiches are much smaller than the other ones you see here. Not just in the size of the bread but the toppings lacked as well. I'm not going to lie, I'd probably try this place one more time just to give them a second chance and see if maybe they had an off day, but for now, I'm extremely disappointed.
Not worth it, pho king is much better bun mi.
Had the Beef Banh Mi, which was subpar. The meet had some kind of weird taste, like it got the flavor of the gas. Worse, there was no cilantro to be found.
Ordered a bowl which was very tasty. At first I thought it wasn’t enough but ended up pretty satisfied. Food was delivered in less than 5 minutes, which was great. Was a bit expensive though, as I ended up paying a bit over $40 for the bowl (no extras) and 2 sodas.
The Heo mi (lemongrass pork Bahn mi) was bland. I am left to wonder if all the vegetables on the sandwich were blanched as I could not taste the radish or cilantro. They left off the jalapeños even though I asked for them. Bread was chewy.
Bahn Mi was okay but the bread was so chewy it makes your jaw sore. The fried shrimp rolls were very tasty. The service was pretty bad overall. First, I had to wait a bit for the guy working the counter to even acknowledge me. Then I saw the order seemed to ring up wrong but when I brought it up, he assured me it was fine. When he brought out the wrong order, he argued what I ordered even though I had clarified with him before paying. Then I had to ask multiple times for the difference that they owed me as they overcharged me.
I am personally vietnamese and the pho was not up par. I honestly wanted to throw it out. The broth tasted worse than instant ramen. If you cant even sell proper pho and noodles please shut down. In additon, the meat that came with the pho was very hard and cold. The mung beans, basil leaves and bean sprouts were weeks old.
Placed an order via Uber and waited for nearly two hours with no communication Restaurant failed to communicate to driver, Uber, or myself of their inability to fulfill order Edit: to the owners response, please read my review once more I placed an order but you were not able to fulfill and consequently did not notify or cancel the order Furthermore attempts to contact you did not work as your contact information is not current
the spring rolls came in saran wrap and it seems like it was sitting out for a long time. it also tasted very underwhelming. the pho also was underwhelming. the broth tasted like water and lacked any authentic flavor.
