Worst experience ever - will never go again and neither should you guys go to this place. First, we arrived at this restaurant at 435 p.m. 3 adults and a 3 year old girl. We placed our order at 0445pm. Once we finish ordering. There was a table of 8 behind us. 5 minutes later all the drinks, lemonade, wine on that table were on the table but nothing on our table. until 0456. We still didn't receive any drinks until I asked my server could we have water first? Guess what. They only gave us 2 glasses of ice water with lipstick on them. I was devastated at that moment. Second, we ordered a scoop of ice cream for my daughter and the waiter gave it to my daughter, but the ice cream was 60% melted. You can tell it's been out for a while and they explained to us that their ice cream is like that. like liquid? I order a scoop of ice cream not a scoop of smoothie. And this Fxxking cost 4 $. OMG. I m so mad right now. after all the food placed in front of me. None of us received any water or drink. That table of 8 got drinks and food before us. I didn't have any respect in that moment. I tried asking the waiter where is my water and why it took so long but I couldn't. Since there was no one there, I wondered where all the waiters were hiding. It was only 5pm to 5:30pm. Their business is slow. Not many customers there... so embarrassing This was the first time my kids, my wife, and my mother-in-law visited San Juan Capistrano. It's a great town with a beautiful beach nearby and what a beautiful place, but because of this restaurant. It ruined my day. Even McDonald's is much better than this. Not worth wasting your money.

Pino grigio was awful. Small plates. When I told the server that my Wife did not care for the Pino. No attempt to refund the drink or get another on the house.

New ownership obviously Me and my family have been going here for years, we come here 2-3 times a week to unwind and have drinks. But it was definitely not a good experience this time around one of the worst customer service. Our nachos where hard and the meat was cold and chewy. We didn't receive our complimentary chips and salsa...The owner was there but never approached us to apologize. We come here to relax and unwind This will no longer be our go too!!.

The first time I came to this restaurant, the quality of food, decoration and location were good, but the service was not. The waiters did not know their duties and everything was done late. This restaurant has the potential to be better.

Wow. I am a professional athlete that has been staying in the area and craving great Mexican food as well as a place with great service. All I can say after eating at this place is that the search is now over. I will be a returning customer for as long as I am here. The owner Marcelo as well as the staff here are top notch. Lots of great things coming for this spot!

Every time I bring my loved ones, friends and colleagues they love the menu and vibe. Perfect location too. They revamped the place made it even more beautiful, renamed “Don Juan” but same excellent customer service and menu! Make sure you support their business with your love

Tasty little Mexican restaurant in the center of San Juan Capistrano. They have a nice outdoor covered area that is great for fresh air and for having pets come along with you. The burritos are gigantic and they have a full salsa bar. They also serve alcoholic beverages including beer, wine, and mixed drinks. There is a parking structure immediately adjacent to the restaurant that is $2 per hour.

We tried this place for the first time last week. We ordered three tacos and they were pretty good. The location, service and atmosphere were also good. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars is because of the price. It was about $30 for three tacos and one plate with rice and beans. Other than price we liked the food.
