So I have been here many times since the 80's, and I have always loved this place. The Buckhorn was one of my dad's favorite restaurants It has been about 20 years since I have been here, the place looks exactly the same. So my wife and kids have never been so I thought it would be a great place for them to try. My kids had chicken tenders and a cheesesteak and a burger. Their food looked great and they said it was delicious, I ordered the rib teaser and pork chop and the ribs tasted old they did not taste fresh at all. The pork chop was a little dry but tasted good. My wife had the half slab of ribs and her ribs were just like mine (tasted old and dry) her mashed potatoes tasted old and not fresh either, she also got onion rings ,which were delicious the service was great! Our waitress was busy and she took care of my kids drink refills and checked on us regularly. I do not feel it was worth what it cost,(quality of food)but it is what it is. I did enjoy time with my family and have had lots of memorable meals here in the past. I can't say enough about our server! She was Great!!

After 20 some years, we moved back to the area. On a visit we were very disappointed but heard it had gotten back to what it use to be. Not quite. French fries very limp ans no salt.

Good food, nice bartenders, and an old school vibe which we like. Going to make it a regular stop.

We haven't been in years, thought we would try for something different. I can remember having to wait for a seat, and they had no reservations. No wait at @ 6pm. I had the herb whole chicken breast/bp and salad, my husband had the pork chop, steak fries and salad. The fries were not fully cooked. The chicken was very moist and the potatoe was good. It came out but not as expected. 2 pieces of flat chicken breast. My salad was bagged salad with 3 pieces of tomato and onion. It took forever to get refills on tea and water. We asked for our bread and the server stated she would get it but she was really busy (under her breath). I think for the price, they will have to step it up to keep up with other restaurants. Service was just ok. She was super sweet but it was very slow. A customer next to us sent their food back because it was still cold on the inside. We will not be returning .
