Food was Great but for the charges I expected more than a plate of bread for the table. The history and all of the wall displays are somewhat unviewable as dinner guests would be hovered over as items were viewed closer. Staff seemed to rush guests through the dinner experience and threw requested boxed left overs into waste bins. Food tasted great but the experience didn't feel like expected or advertised. ‐‐----------------------------- Received reply from owner...it's difficult from out of state to return. When back in town next year, it will be difficult to convince parry to give this another shot with the monetary expense involved. The experience could have left a "feeling of importance and value", resulting in our annual group returning and growing with each visit.

Loved the historical aspect of the place, but the prices are really high for the quality of the food. I ordered buffalo tenderloin, and it was hardly seasoned.

Offering wild game is uninspiring, if the food is not good.

History, Amazing food and atmosphere. Buckhorn Exchange, if your a Colorado native or not, the experience is one to remember. The service was very exceptional and the explanation of everything you could possibly order. There is so much to take in, and our table for two was memorable. Two plush chairs not like anything I've experienced. Definitely a place to experience with your significant other or family. The food was so on point to your order. Don't let this gem pass you by. Expensive yes some what, just don't tack on drinks. 11$ for a shot of vodka. Left overs were so good.

We waited for some time at the front before anyone even said hello which felt uncomfortable. The wait staff were amazing however for the price I expected better food. I had the special which was salmon with a crab and asparagus topping. The salmon was overcooked and the crab topping was tasteless and appeared as though it had been fried on the grill. I’ve never seen grayish brown crab before. New rolls would make a difference, they are super dry and somewhat stale. Overall a very lackluster experience and certainly overpriced.
